There are dozens of virtual reality games that you can buy. But none of them give you that arcade experience quite like PSVR Battlezone does. This game does more than let you feel like you’re standing in front of the arcade game playing to your heart’s content.
This virtual reality game puts you inside the tank where the real action takes place. This is a first person shooter game that takes you straight into the heart of the battle right from the beginning.
Those of you who are die-hard gamers will recognize the similarities between this version of the game and the Atari version. The graphics in the game are pretty good.
It gives you that similar style you’d find in the original, but pays close attention to detail. You’ll feel like you’re performing moves within the interior of the tank. Inside the tank is where you’ll get your game information.
You’ll notice areas where your game goal is listed, your location, what your defense level is and your ammunition. This makes you feel like you’re sitting in the tank mentally prepping for the battle ahead.

You will need to keep a close eye on your ammunition because it easy to run out in this game. There are no glitches when it comes to operating the tank. It moves through the world easily but still manages to give the impression of the same jerky movements that riding in a real tank would give you.
The maneuverability of the tank will depend on which one you select to play the game. As you go through the game, you have to complete the campaign in order to succeed.
Each mission gives you different objectives that you have to complete. It’s up to you how long these missions will last. You can choose short or long ones. You can also choose the difficulty level of the campaign.
The various missions you’ll go through change from things like battling your enemies to taking down enemy camps. You’ll also be tasked with providing assistance as you partake in escort missions where you provide safety and cover.
You can play Battlezone by yourself or you can open up the game to three other players. One of the popular features with this game is the multiplayer capability. While you do get some quick pointers with the game, you will have to jump into the action without knowing everything you need to know. You’ll have to figure that out on your own before you can learn how to master the game.
